Malcolm Little
A militant black leader born in Omaha Nebraska. After being convicted of burglary, he spent eight years in jail, during which he converted to Muslim. When released form jail in 1952, he became a Muslim minister and respected advocator for the doctrines of black nationalism and black separatism. He was suspended from Elijah Muhammad’s organization in 1963 due to a politically incorrect statement made during a speech. He then proceeded to form a rival organization, the Muslim Mosque, Inc. After a pilgrimage to Mecca, he formed the Organization of Afro-American Unity,an organization that supported black nationalism but not black separation . In February of 1965 he was assassinated in a public auditorium in New York City.

Barbara Pierce Bush
After marrying George Bush in 1945, Barbara Bush and her husband had six children, George, Robin, Jeb, Neil, Marvin, and Dorothy. She became the First Lady of the United States upon her husband’s election in 1989 and she is well known for her advocacy for literacy and volunteerism. Her two sons, Jeb and George, became noteworthy state governors and George went on to win the Presidency. Today she serves as the chairman of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.

Yogi Berra
A distinguished baseball player for the Yankees with an incredible record comprised of 358 career home runs and fourteen appearances in the World Series. He was also named the American League's Most Valuable Player in 1951, 1954, and 1955. He later went on to manage the Yankees and the Mets for seven years.

Robert F. Kennedy
After managing the campaign of his older brother, John F. Kennedy, for the U.S. Senate in 1952 and the presidency in 1960, he became the Attorney General in his brother’s administration. After his brother’s assassination, he worked temporarily in Lyndon Johnson’s administration before becoming the governor of New York. Succumbing to a similar fate as his brother, he was assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan in 1968 after declaring his intent to run for president of the United States.
